One of Plaster Cornices largest projects: Het Paleis Schiedam (The palace of Schiedam)

Two industrial buildings transformed into 1500m2 floor space.
Het Paleis Schiedam is a special location for events, mainly for eastern-cultures weddings.
Plaster cornices decorated the ceiling and walls.

The first option was to add coving, but leave the center empty. Finally we decided to create compartments by using coving.
Completed with a phenomenal masterpiece of 12 meters in diameter. The spaces around the compartments are filled with perklists an coves.
The inside is filled with perklists and ornaments.

Beside the ceiling, the walls are also decorated bij Plaster Cornices. By creating several layers and using LED, a 3D effect arose.
